My Bio
Mr. Whittington has more than 35 years of experience working for Independents (public) and privately owned E&P companies. Mr. Whittington served in various positions in management, financial analysis, reservoir engineering and production/drilling operations. Additionally, he has experience in energy lending, acquisition financing, oil and gas asset sales, and investment banking transactions. Mr. Whittington and a partner formed a private acquisition/development/production company, Crossover Resources, focused on the Cotton Valley in East Texas (sold 2008) and later the Mississippi Salt Basin (sold 2016). Crossover Resources managed “foreclosed” East Texas and South Texas assets for large New York financial institution in 2011-2014. Bill graduated with honors from Texas A&M University in 1979 with BS, and a MS degrees in Petroleum Engineering in 1980 from Texas A&M University. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas and a member of various professional organizations.
